June 2 Council update: Site Development Plan for the Caliber at Terrain apartment complex moves forward; motion sets July 4 Star turn-off date
The Site Development Plan for an apartment complex known as Caliber at Terrain and a date to turn off The Star were topics at Town Council’s June 2 meeting.
Here’s a more in-depth look at the topics:
- Resolution approving a Site Development Plan for the Caliber at Terrain apartment complex finalized; zoning found to be appropriate – Town Council approved the Site Development Plan (4-3, with Councilmembers Bracken, Johnson and Loban opposed) submitted by The Garrett Companies for an apartment complex known as Caliber at Terrain. The plan includes 17 three-story buildings containing 238 apartment units, a clubhouse, pool and dog park. The apartment complex will be located near Founders Parkway and State Highway 86. Council also confirmed that the underlying zoning is appropriate under Town laws. Zoning for the property was established in 1981.
