Here is a more in-depth look at Tuesday’s meeting agenda:
- Resolution approving the 2020 Water Use Management Plan – Town Council will be asked to approve the 2020 Water Use Management Plan. The Town has used a mandatory every-third-day watering schedule for landscape irrigation since 1985. This watering schedule will remain in place for the 2020 irrigation season – May through September. Residential watering hours will be before 8 a.m. and after 8 p.m. on the designated watering day. Nonresidential watering hours will begin at 10 p.m. on the designated day and must be complete by 6 a.m. the following morning. With the exception of hand watering, no watering during the daytime hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. will be allowed.
Additionally, watering exemptions will not be issued July 1-31 for those trying to install landscaping during the hottest/driest part of the year.
- Resolution approving the Development Plan for the Plum Creek Convenience Site – A proposal from Plum Creek Investments LLC for the Plum Creek Convenience Site Development Plan has been continued to April 7. The plan includes a gas station with a carwash, convenience store and additional retail space. The project is located at the southeast corner of East Plum Creek Parkway and Lake Gulch Road. If approved, the development would be adjacent to a new roundabout and planned widening of East Plum Creek Parkway.
Also on the agenda, Town Council will be presenting a proclamation recognizing Development Services Director Bill Detweiler. After nearly 16 years of service with the Town, Detweiler has announced his retirement. Assistant Director Tara Vargish will be named interim director. Please note, the farewell reception, which had been planned for March 26, will be rescheduled to a later date.
