Help shape the future of Castle Rock. Fill a board or commission vacancy

News-Town1

If you’re passionate about parks and recreation, or influencing the future of Castle Rock’s development, consider applying for a position on a board or commission.

While annual recruitment for the Town’s 11 boards and commissions typically happens each April, there are occasionally interim openings that need to be filled throughout the year.

There are currently four vacancies:

Castle Rock Water Commission: One vacancy with a term expiring May 31, 2018

Design Review Board: One vacancy with a term expiring May 31, 2019. (Must be a Downtown property owner.)

Parks and Recreation Commission: One vacancy with a term expiring May 31, 2018

Planning Commission: One vacancy with a term expiring May 31, 2018

Interested? Submit a completed Board or Commission Application to the Town Clerk’s Office, 100 N. Wilcox St., or by email at rschonher@CRgov.com. The application and more information is online at CRgov.com/ApplyBC.

Applicants must be a Castle Rock resident. A selection committee for each vacancy will conduct interviews and make recommendations to Town Council for final approval.

Questions? Contact Town Clerk Administrative Assistant Robbie Schonher, rschonher@CRgov.com, or 720-733-2229.
