Cheerleading
The most important concept in our cheerleading class will be working as a team! Dancers will learn how to move in unison and create fun formations and pictures as a unit. Students will be taught the importance of working together towards a common goal and how to overcome differences. Cheerleading classes also include the Family Engagement Program to keep parents informed about what their children are learning in class!
Creative Dance

Parents are able to observe what their child has learned with several free observations and community performances throughout the session!
Hip Hop
Each week we explore a new aspect of the Hip Hop dance style whether it be a genre such as break dance vs tutting or Hip Hop terminology such as coffee grinder vs isolations. By exploring a new concept each week, we follow the guidelines of the ‘Dance to Discover!’™ Method, to keep class interesting and exciting and ensure children are learning as much as possible. Hip Hop classes include the Dance Exploration, LLC Family Engagement Program to continue the study of hip hop at home with fun games and activities the whole family can enjoy!

Recommended attire includes anything that the child and parent can move in and ballet slippers, socks or bare feet.
Pre-Ballet
Pre-Ballet classes follow a themed class structure, similar to Creative Dance, but places larger focus on beginning ballet movements as well as a greater emphasis on technique. Students will learn the five positions of the arms and feet, basic body positions, introductory ballet movements as well as ballet terminology. Props such as teddy bears, magic wands, hula hoops and scarves are used to make class fun, and to help children learn by association. All Pre-Ballet students are taught choreography to teach memorization, spatial awareness and self-worth! Routines are based on the child's ability and talent and designed to encourage artistic and technical growth.
Princess Events
In these magical Dance Exploration classes, dancers will meet their favorite princesses while learning and mastering different dance moves, interacting with the characters during story time, completing obstacle courses and even getting autographs! Dancers will get to move to their favorite songs and have adventures, just like their favorite princesses!
Teddy Bear Hip Hop
Teddy Bear Hip Hop Dance™ is an introduction to the urban street styles of dancing known commonly as Hip Hop. What makes the class unique is in the execution of the deliverance of dance steps. Each move will be taught using a stuffed animal, like a teddy bear, or similar prop to easily teach break dance moves and other hip-hop genres. As classes progress dancers will be asked to perform dance moves that replicate a real life creature or event. The skills and movements taught will be age appropriate and test motor development as well as spatial awareness all part of the ‘Dance to Move!’™ Method. Each Teddy Bear Hip Hop Dance™ class will learn a combo or dance routine to be performed at the graduation.
