The Recreation Center leisure pool will be closed for annual maintenance and general cleaning the week of Aug. 12. In addition the leisure pool slides will be closed beginning Sunday, Aug. 11 so crews can get a jump start on the work.
The Recreation Center leisure pool is a great place for the entire family to hang out. The 87-degree water cascades over a waterfall, geysers and three slides.
Relax on the lazy river, enjoy the whirlpool and zero-depth entry, let the kids burn energy on the the interactive play structure, or take a steam in the steam room. There is truly something for everyone at this unique Town pool.

Rules and regulations Children under the age of 8 must have a paying adult with them in the pool.
Inner tubes Inner tubes are available and required for the tube slide.
Height You must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the slides.
Safety breaks The leisure pool has mandatory 15-minute safety breaks every two hours. The safety break is designed to give kids an opportunity to calm down and acknowledge their fatigue level, use the restroom and get a break from the possible ongoing ingestion of pool water. This helps to reduce the number of incidents a lifeguard needs to respond to as well as fecal accident and vomit closures. Safety breaks start at 10:45 a.m. and occur every two hours thereafter.

Food and drinks Food is allowed in the pool area, but glass containers are not. Vending machines are available in the pool area.
