Crime Map
This online software maps and analyzes crime data; alerts Castle Rock residents about crimes in their area; and allows the Castle Rock Police Department to quickly alert the public about crimes as they occur. This free service is provided to allow residents to view a map and grid with all of the crimes in their area and sign up for neighborhood watch reports.

Crime Statistics
In 2016, the Police Department responded to 73,290 calls for service, which included criminal events, civil situations and traffic-related issues. Please refer to our Annual Reports (under About Police) for detailed crime statistics.

Officer-Involved Shooting Investigations
Whenever a member of the Castle Rock Police Department is involved in a deadly force encounter where the officer(s) discharges his/her firearm, the Critical Response Team (18th Judicial District) will investigate the incident according to the criteria detailed under this page. These teams may also be used any time the agency CEO requests their assistance to investigate any use of force situation resulting in death.

Request Police Records
The Records Unit maintains official reports of all incidents reported to Castle Rock Police. Traffic Accident Reports for accidents occurring on or after Nov.1, 2014 may be obtained online. Records Unit Personnel are available Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
